WHERE IS IT?

The 2nd Annual Ottawa Lumière Festival will take place along Stanley Park in New Edinburgh. It will be a fantastic venue with a natural procession route, the playground, access to water for the water lanterns, and the history of being our community’s meeting place.

Street Parking is limited. We encourage you to please walk, bike or take the bus.

Bus Directions:

From the Rideau Shopping Mall to 200 Crichton Street (then just follow the signs to Stanley Park – a 2 minute walk)

At 5:45 PM, walk to stop RIDEAU STOP / ARRÊT 3A (3 min.).

At 5:48 PM, take Bus route 3 direction Hurdman and get off at stop CRICHTON / DUFFERIN, street CRICHTON following street DUFFERIN. Last intersections: QUEEN VICTORIA ST, KEEFER ST, DUFFERIN RD. Arrive at 6:03 PM.

Walk to 200 CRICHTON. Arrive at 6:04 PM (1 min.).

Independent Directions: From Highway 417 (The Queensway) take exit 118 (Nicholas Street). Go northwest 1.8 km to Rideau Street and turn right or northeast onto it. In 0.3 km King Edward Avenue will be on the left or northwest side. From the corner of Rideau Street and King Edward Avenue, turn left or northwest onto King Edward and proceed 1.2 km to the Minto Bridges. Turn right or NNE onto the bridges and cross them to Stanley Avenue in 0.4 km. Park on Stanley as close as possible to the bridge. The park is south of Stanley Avenue and east of the bridge.

Rideau River East Side Route Directions: From Maple Island, simply leave your car where it is; and instead of returning all the way to Stanley Avenue, turn right after crossing the bridge and enter New Edinburgh Park. The park is south of Stanley Avenue and east of the bridge.
