Samba Ottawa

Samba Ottawa

Samba Ottawa is a community percussion group playing Samba, Samba-Reggae, Maracatu, and other Brazilian and Afro-Latin rhythms. This is Carnival music—drums to dance to—the kind of music you would hear on the streets and beaches and in the bars of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Salvador. But we add our own influences to this mix - rock, funk, soul and folk have all inspired parts of our music - even Mozart!
