Julie Cruikshank

Julie Cruikshank is a fourth year student working towards her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Mt. Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick. Her work includes photography, collage, and painting, with a particular interest in how these media can be combined to create multi-dimensional work. This is her second year of involvement with the Lumiere festival, this time as an installation artist. Julie is particularly interested in and committed to community involvement in the arts - one of the reasons she now makes Ottawa her home.

• Lantern creator for the 2008 Lumiere festival

• Production of studio and course-related artwork as part of the Fine Arts degree program at Mt. Allison University
