Divine Image Dance
As a dancer and creative artist over the years I have developed a deep passion for belly dance and its ability to heal the body. I use Belly Dance as an expression of art and by using it as a visual representation of the music. As one who shares the story of the music I interact with the audience. I include all of these components to my performances and to the classes that I teach.
By studying under different Dance teachers such as, Tracey Vibert, Leslie M., and Anne-Marie Gaston, I have been able to explore and appreciate the technical side of dance along with the spiritual and healing elements of this art.
Having researched many genres, methods and styles, I pride myself in providing a unique range of dance knowledge and expression.
The dance that arises from my influences is a powerful yet graceful fusion of Indian Temple Dance, Tribal Belly Dance, Ballet and Traditional Middle Eastern Belly dance. These dance styles combined make a signature style of dance allowing for energy to be transformed through movement to uplift the self in body, mind and spirit.
