Bringing inspiring dance out of the studio and into the world...

Exploring and experimenting with the concepts of nature, light and movement PhOOM! is a collective of dance artists working to transcend the boundaries of reality. Directed by dancer Natasha Royka and musician/dancer Andrea Loken, PhOOM! has been creating unique site specific dance works since 2006. Starting with Summer Solstice and the wonders of dancing candle light, PhOOM! has created Fairy Magic for the Ottawa Lumiere Festival - and Canada's Parliament Hill too:) - brought dance into the Herb Garden of Almonte, Ontario for Herb Fest and used classical inspiration to create a contemporary landscape dance at Ottawa sculptor John Ceprano's rock sculptures on the Ottawa river
